Year End Update December, 2007

Dear Friend,

In a recent newsletter, I wrote that one of our staff members was directed by the Lord to give all her change to someone in a convenience store. The jar of change, worth $60, was going to help pay bills but she decided to help someone else rather than just meet her own needs.

After reading this story, God spoke to a man from Texas to give our staff member all the change he had been collecting in a box. She soon received a check for $180! Needless to say, the staff member was overwhelmed at this man's kindness and generosity.

This past year, B.U.D. made enormous financial sacrifices to produce Christ-centered materials designed to bring hope and encouragement to others. The effort has been worth every penny. The response to Set Me Ablaze and Consuming Love has been both fulfilling and humbling:

"This is an incredible CD. The way it's presented, you feel the heart of Jesus in an amazing way."

"I love it! I cried through it. Thank you so much."

"Oh, my goodness... I'm speechless. I just received the cd in the mail and have been listening to it. We're riveted. It is SO unique, so touching, so interesting...

"As I read his book, I felt as if he was talking to me in person. Steve did a very good job of making his case in a very logical systematic way. And, I liked the way he explained how commitment, friendship and passion is the foundation for relationships."

"...it speaks directly to your heart but also engages your mind....Those who may be getting along fine right now will be blessed by the memories and reinforcement of principles. I happen to be at a difficult time in my life, and this book is breaking my heart (in a good way). So whatever your current state in life, this book will bless you."

Thank you so much for your friendship, prayers and support this past year. I just can't tell you how encouraging it is to know you are behind us. Urban ministry is definitely a team effort and we are so glad you are a part of our team!

Still in His Grip,

Steve Harrison
