Read what retreaters have to say about this annual event:

"It's fun, it's lively and always full of suprises!  To be a part of something so warm and creative for a whole weekend- it jumpstarts my creative juices every time!  I love seeing how others create- putting their project together, it's fascinating and you can always guarantee to see something you haven't before!  This weekend immerses me in total creativity, sharing and inspiration!  I don't have to cook, I don't have to clean, I don't have to let the dog out.  All my responsibilities are gone- except for the one to have fun and enjoy!"    Andrea Rivers - Federal Way, WA

"These events have allowed me to retreat from the emotional roller coasters of personal tragedies and health issues and be renewed in the love, caring, and sharing of the fellowship of other women creating beautiful art.  I look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones."      Sue Lewis - Seattle, WA

"The location is near enough to Seattle to provide the chance to explore the city before or after the retreat. The setting for the retreat itself is ideal, in a secluded and beautiful wooded campus which also provides opportunity for quiet rest, exercise (in the pool), and outdoor walks. I have attended many events at this location and the food served has always been excellent.  Along with as much stamping as you could hope to fit into one weekend, participants are sure to laugh, play and explore their creativity all in a friendly, supportive and relaxing atmosphere."        Julie Imsland - North Bend, WA

"If you are looking for the MOST fun in sisterhood, you have found it with the Pennywise Arts weekend retreat! Stay on campus at a wonderful Christian college in the mountains of Washington State. Food, lodging, and entertainment are under one roof for the most amazing weekend of crafts, laughs and friendship.  Once-met girlfriends become life-long pals and this semi-newbie crafter couldn't be more pleased with all of the talented gals that fly in from all over the world, for this event.  This is the one place you can relax and craft as much or as little as you like!"                         Melissa Ragsdill - Kingwood, TX

I’ve traveled all around the U.S. attending art retreats, and without question, the PWA WLSBP is the most fun.  It’s not just  the projects (which are outstanding) but the friendships formed that make it so special.  I was a little scared to go to my first one, but this will be my third party, and I fly in from Michigan to attend.  It is SO worth it!  It really is a party, like having a sleepover with 50 of your closest friends.  If they weren’t friends before you got there, they will be when you leave!  I had

never rubber stamped before my first WLSBP, and now I am totally hooked.  The support of all the women there was just an incredible experience.                     Debbie Warren - Midland, MI

"Don't miss the shopping road trip on Monday!!  It's the icing on the weekend cake!!" Suzanne Glazier - North Bend, WA
