Sunflower Triangle Shaker

A shaker card class that features 5 unique shaker card designs where all the students will create the actual cards on the display, actual class samples may vary. Each card in class will use a different template, so they will all be different sizes and shapes with a variety of stamping techniques and styles. The "Laugh" uses our basic shaker template with stamping on acetate and alcohol inks. The "Queen" is an ATC sized shaker. The third photo (We do not remember days) uses our business sized shaker template and brayer techniques to create the background color for the shaker frame. Also in this class I would introduce our newest template for creating unique triangle shaped shaker cards with a bonus template for creating matching triangle shaped envelopes. This class is 2.5 hours and costs $30.00 per person. Students may wish to bring their own basic supply kit with scissors, cutting mat and craft knife to reduce any waiting time for shared materials.

Shake, shake, shake! Learn Suzanne's secret technique that makes shaker cards a breeze to create! Each shaker can be used as a card itself, or added as an embellishment to a gift box, altered art or whatever you can think of! We'll complete 5 cards together in class and each student will receive a package of shaker card templates to take home for FREE! ($5 value!)

Please click [here] for a larger photo.  In the first segment of class, I will walk the students through each step to create this exact card. In doing this together, students will learn all of my best kept bead secrets and the keys to creating quick and easy shaker cards that are self contained with no messy edges to hide! Then for the second segment of the class, I will turn them loose with all of my templates, stamps, inks and bead supplies to make as many cards as they can in the allotted 2 hours for class. Each student should be able to complete 3 to 5 more cards in class (depending on how focused they are) and they will all go home with free shaker card templates ($5 retail value) and written class instructions. The cost for this class is $25 and includes all materials needed. Students may wish to bring their own basic supply kit with scissors, cutting mat and craft knife to reduce any waiting time for shared materials. They are welcome to bring any of their own stamps that they would like to use as well!

Surprise Shaker Card

An advanced shaker card class that teaches students how to create amazing 'Surprise Inside' shaker cards. We will make two of these advanced cards together in class, (we need 2 hours!) This amazing technique is sure to wow even the most hard to please artist! Cost is $25 and students will definitely want to bring their own scissors, cutting mats and craft knives.

This "Antique" Travel Keepsake Box is truly an adventure in collage! Please click the picture on the left for a larger photo.  Bring some of your own travel or journey themed memorabilia and souvenirs, and/or choose from an assortment that will be provided in class. These special boxes with the domed keepsake tops will be antiqued, stamped, colored and collaged in class. They are a fun way to store special tokens from travels you've taken, or dreams of future trips! $35.00 fee includes everything needed to make the class example - everyone gets the kit whether they use their own memorabilia or not. Students need to bring: Scissors, Small Foam Brush, Small paintbrush. Students may wish to bring, if they have them: Twinkling H20's, Heat Tool, Travel/Journey related rubber stamps and memorabilia.

Whether you have lots of experience with micro-beads or you're just getting started, this class will give you the basics of how you can add micro beads to your artwork.
