Saturday, May 5th Treasured Wooden Recipe Box PWA Castle, North Bend, WA 10:00am - 1:00pm Instructor: Marilynn Campise $38.00

Just in time for a wonderful Mother's Day gift, Marilynn will be helping us to create a vintage looking wooden recipe box that is sure to become a treasured family heirloom. We will be working with wood, fabric, paint, dye and more to create this awesome keepsake. The finished box will contain your special recipes with photos of the person(s) related to the recipes. The class is designed for all levels of talent and you will leave with a completed project. Students are asked to bring a basic supply kit to class with them.

The class includes everything else needed to make the box shown but to personalize it for your own family we highly recommend that you bring the following items with you:

~ 4 or 5 recipes approx 5 by 5 or on recipe cards - pages will be approx 5 by 5 (Consider scanning in recipes that have been handwritten by a grandmother or other)

~ 3 or 4 photos relating to recipes - approx 3" by 4"(If you're using Great Aunt Dorothy's cookie recipe, bring a photo of her to put with it!)

~ For the top of your box you may want to bring a favorite recipe or copy from an older cookbook. Print it about 8" by 10" in size on ivory cardstock.

~ Embellishments that are important to you that you would like to include (i.e. measuring spoon).
