Greetings!
Welcome to Mallorca where the sun is shining, the almond blossom is in all its glory and the real estate market looks a little brighter. We are now into March and I realise you have all been desperately waiting to hear from me in 2011 !!! Apologies but we have been busy, I'm pleased to say!
We are still seeing more interest in high value properties as is also being seen in the London market according to Savills.
Nevertheless closing sales in Mallorca is still not easy with long negotiations, more complex conditions and longer completion periods, and buyers still in the strong position of being able to haggle on price. But don't expect the massive discounts that may be available in some areas of mainland Spain since Mallorca is fortunate not to have been in the same "over built" position, and let's face it, Mallorca is Mallorca!
