Mayor Provides Proclamation for Rhonda Barnes
Rhonda Barnes was on the Adopt A School committee from the very beginning and it seemed fitting to honor her memory at the recent City Council meeting on Thursday, March 11, 2010.
Many teachers, like Johathon Vaughn at PT Intermediate, have created blogs on the district's Web site. Teachers use the sites to educate both parents and students. Vaughn uses his blog to ask his students questions and provide homework reminders.
For the third time since joining the AEP SWEPCO Schools Conserving Resources Program (SCORESM), Pine Tree ISD earned an incentive check for carrying out energy efficiency upgrades.
Congratulations to:
Lindsay Conway: State Diving Champ and State TMEA band award.
John Tillery, finalist in Restaurant and Food Service Management at the DECA State competition.
