Veteran's Day Celebrations
Students at Pine Tree Intermediate School gathered in front of their building Friday, November 9th, to sing patriotic songs and read essays to a group of about 50 veterans. The essays expressed appreciation and respect for their service.
The Veteran's Day program during the annual "Share the Schools" event held at the new PT Middle School, was also a huge success. Students greeted everyone at the front door with a red carpet and art exhibit highlighting local veterans followed by breakfast and an outstanding program.
And at Pine Tree Junior High, students created a flag commemorating Veteran's Day which is displayed in the front foyer of Pine Tree Junior High. Read more.
