Greetings!

So, my vines and wines 101 is coming up on Thursday. Do your friend(s) a favor and encourage them to come. This is a great and in-depth wine class that will equip them with wine tasting and talking skills! Also, I can still accept reservations for the Saturday boat cruise!

Also, look for me in San Diego Magazine in the September issue! I am one of the finalists for Women Who Move the City! If anyone wants to attend the Awards show to cheer me on September 16ht, let me know, tickets for friends and family are only $25!

For the WSET classes, we are almost at capacity! If you still want to join, there is a little time left. I need to have everyone in by Monday of next week (at the latest!) for the September class! There are so many wonderful people who are joining the program to change their lives and finally follow their passion. If you are looking to do the same, let me know and I can go over the program with you.

 Enrollment Updates

WSET lgo Ok, as the week draws to a close, so do my enrollments for the historic September class! If you still want to join, get on it!

Who in the Wine World is Certified WSET? 1. The ultimate authority on wine, and writer of "The Oxford Companion to Wine" Jancis Robinson got her start with the WSET. She says: "What I did rather immediately after starting was to sign up for the Wine and Spirits Educational Trust. It has a very structured set of courses that eventually lead to the Master of Wine. I started with the certificate and I worked my way up through those courses. I did it quite quickly."-vinography.com

2. Peter Neptune, Master Sommelier "My WSET studies were invaluable in helping my education towards becoming a Master Sommelier. I have been teaching WSET classes to the public and the wine industry for over 7 years and have successfully graduated over 300 students at the Intermediate and Advanced Levels."

3. And locally, yours truly is certified :-) As well as Tasha Kuxton, GM of Wine Steals Point Loma. It is through the WSET that she got her career launched in the wine industry!
