Join us at Hallam Lake for a special performance by acclaimed Tibetan musician, Jamyang Yeshi, followed by a screening of the film, Shining Spirit: The Musical Journey of Jamyang Yeshi, a story about the power of music and a Tibetan family separated by politics and geography.

Jamyang was born into a nomadic family in the Amdo region of Tibet.  In 1998, the young musician escaped across the Himalayas to Dharamsala, India and later sought refuge in Canada.  Jamyang has performed for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Richard Gere and Robert Thurman, and Prince Charles among others.
