toklat potluck

The second in a series of "Poetry and Potluck" events at the Catto Center at Toklat, located at the top of the Castle Creek Valley across from the Ashcroft Ghost Town, will proudly feature Oregon writer, actor, musician and outdoorsman Eric Walter, whose multimedia stage work includes the critically acclaimed "Desert Time," and whose extensive travels in wild regions of North America have resulted in five published collections of poetry.

Come join the Toklat council and staff for what promises to be a uniquely entertaining evening. There is no fee, but potluck dishes and/or cash donations are encouraged.

Meet the ACES Educators
2009-2010 School Year
Ed staff
The air is crisp in the morning, a few leaves have turned yellow, and kids are back in school.  The ACES' education staff is thrilled to be back in school too.  We are busy teaching students inside and outside of the classroom. Since 1975, ACES' has provided educational programs for that are designed to support teachers and students in meeting science content standards through hands-on exploration and scientific inquiry.  To provide these programs we have an excellent education staff including three educators that are new to ACES.  Please help us in welcoming Kendra Totman to Hallam Lake and Sarah Fuller and Amelia Potvin to Rock Bottom Ranch.  To read their bios, click here.

If you are a teacher that would like to schedule a program for you class, please contact Sarah Schmidt at Hallam Lake 970-925-5756, or Allison Holmes at Rock Bottom Ranch 970-927-6760.
