Shape Up RI News

January 7, 2008

Dear Friends,   Rajiv Kumar

Online registration for Shape Up RI 2008 has begun!

In just a few days, 1,000 Rhode Islanders have already joined our family.

Click here to sign up today.

This year I want to urge you to become a team captain. Many of you have participated in our program in the past. As experienced members of our community, you are uniquely equipped to help lead a team of friends, family, or colleagues on a 12-week journey toward healthier living. The success of our program rests heavily on the hard work and motivation of our team captains.

This year I need 1,500 team captains to step up to the plate -- and I want you to be one of them. Click here to sign up.

In addition to a few small gifts that we offer to team captains, a huge benefit of being a team captain is that they achieve the most success in our program (according to past results).

I also encourage you to ask your employer to join Shape Up RI. Over 50 employers across the state are now sponsoring their employees to participate in our wellness program. If you are an employer, consider investing in the health of your employees by signing up for Shape Up RI. Call our staff at 421-0608 to learn more.

Good luck forming your teams and getting ready for this exciting competition.

Happy New Year!

Yours in Health,

Rajiv Kumar
Chairman
