We have been hard at work laying the groundwork for Shape Up RI 2008, recruiting employers across the state to sponsor their employees, raising funds for this non-profit organization from generous partners, studying the results of the previous campaign, and making important improvements to our program.

Our Lead Sponsor for 2008 is Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island. We honor and thank Blue Cross for its continued leadership in making this healthy lifestyle program affordable and accessible to all Rhode Islanders. Shape Up RI 2008 would not be possible without their generous support.

I welcome Lifespan as our new Health Partner for the 2008 campaign. As a guiding force in the health of Rhode Islanders, Lifespan is demonstrating its unwavering commitment to improving quality and access to health care.
