What needs will you meet?

Yesterday you were asked to focus on who you cared about.  What group do you feel most passionate about?  Now it is time to look within that group to identify the needs.

Every group will have all kinds of needs and it will take a multitude of spiritual gifts, abilities, personalities to meet each need within this group.  If your passion lies with children, you are not responsible for meeting every need in the Children's Ministry.  God is calling you along with many other people to complete all that needs to be done in your area of ministry.

Take a look at the following specific needs in order to identify your passion within your passion.
  • Spiritual Needs . . . helping people discover Christ and reach their full potential for him.
  • Physical Needs . . . meeting practical needs by providing resources such as food, clothing, shelter, and other necessities.
  • Relational Needs . . . helping other people develop authentic, healthy, Christ-centered relationships.
  • Emotional Needs . . . helping people achieve emotional well-being or deal with a difficult situation.
  • Educational Needs . . . helping people gain knowledge, abilities, or insight, through teaching or leading.
  • Vocational Needs . . . assisting people to overcome barriers and reach vocational goals through training, coaching, and consulting.

Remember, keep praying that God would help you understand your SHAPE!
Today's Prayer:

Dear God, thank you for supplying all my needs. I am especially grateful for the people you have used to meet my needs throughout my life. I know that you are calling me to meet other people's needs in the same way. Show me the needs you want me to help meet, and remind me how I am created to be used as a part of your plan to meet them.
