40 Days Header
I hope that you really enjoyed last week's focus on finding your spiritual gifts.  I heard lots of exciting comments from members that were totally surprised by the results and others that were affirmed in what they already knew. Both results are awesome!

This week we are moving to the "H" of SHAPE which focuses on your heart's passion.  Before you can really identify your heart's passion you have to understand what we are talking about.  By the end of this week you will have a better understanding of how to identify your God-given heart's passion.

First, I want to say STOP!  Stop all of the routine busyness that you do each week and listen to your heart.  We all have something that we are so passionate about that we just can hardly stay on the ground when we are talking about it.  The reason that I said to stop is because it probably has been awhile since you really were able to think about what excites you.  We are so busy "doing church" sometimes that we totally miss experiencing church.  Slow down for a minute and really listen to the following verse.  This is just another step to understanding the masterpiece that God created you to be.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving (Colossians 3:23-24).

Watch for tomorrow's email with a link to questions that will help you understand your heart's passion. Meanwhile, if you have not taken the Spiritual Gift Inventory, click here.
Today's Prayer:

Dear God, I am thankful that your Spirit came to live in my heart the moment I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I know that your presence in my heart is motivating me to serve you. I pray that this week you will help me understand the things that you have made me passionate about. Show me how to use my passions to serve you enthusiastically.
