Greetings!

Happy February!   It's Valentine's Day and this month, we find ourselves oozing with gratitude and appreciation for the blessings in our lives. We are grateful to our families for loving us unconditionally and being the source of inspiration for starting TH!NK.   We are grateful to you, our loyal TH!NKsters, for believing in us and helping us to become better at what we do.

February is the perfect month to say THANK YOU.  It's the perfect month to show those around you how much you care and on that note, it's the perfect month to talk about employee recognition. We hope you enjoy this month's featured article which contains a message in alignment with our leadership beliefs. Check out our TH!NK W!NKS as we recognize a real dynamo, Stephanie Ponciano.   And we hope you'll join us on our TH!NK Facebook page and share your favorite employee recognition practice!

Aloha,

The successful leadership relationship inspires people to become more than they might have been without the relationship. Following an effective leader, people accomplish and achieve more than they may ever have dreamed possible.

The foundation of this successful relationship is the leader's ability to make people feel important. (Sure, money works to a certain extent, although, as a limited quantity in organizations, I wouldn't overemphasize its importance.) This month we are sending  TH!NK W!NKS ;) to Stephanie Ponciano, who works at Workforce Development at the US Army Hawaii Garrison at Schofield Barracks

Over the past 2 years, we have witnessed Stephanie perform her work with integrity and with an impeccable attention to detail.  She is a tiger at getting things done!  We are grateful to Stephanie for everything she has done to support us with kindness and honesty.    From managing all aspects of class scheduling at the U.S. Army Garrison in Hawaii to helping us navigate the complex world of federal contracts, Stephanie's dedication creates a solid foundation for people development to flourish!

Stephanie, through your talent to gracefully hold people accountable to the details, you make a huge impact on the growth of everyone you are in service to.  Thank you Stephanie!
