If you want to start a thinking skills program at your school or college we are here to support you with appropriate school materials. We expect many corporations that host de Bono Thinking Systems training programs will also be interested in supporting thinking skills programs at schools in their local communities, as part of their corporate community giving efforts. Award winning teacher, Diane Kaye Till is the creator of this series.
She started teaching Six Thinking Hats to children in 1992 to help her
young students learn to "think things through." The activities she has
included in her two books have been enjoyed by countless children. They
loved the activities tied to Six Thinking Hats because the hats helped
them think in new ways about each story.
Each volume is
filled with reproducible activity sheets which really extends the
learning time devoted to each story book. 12 Six
Thinking Hats activities for each story book are included. The
reproducible activity sheets make this series very affordable as each
teacher only needs to buy the activity book once. We also sell the
story books as
not all schools will have them in their libraries. Some schools buy
extra story books and provide each student with a copy as a "read
along."
