Developing and launching Focus on Facilitation has
been a rewarding and exciting project. I believe we
have reached the point where it's finally time to
start a newsletter that shares success tips that
will help each of us continue to strengthen our de
Bono facilitation skills.
Facilitator Tips Request
I am in the midst of preparing my first edition of
de Bono Focus on Facilitation Tips. If you have a
tip you would like to share please email it to me no
later than Friday, May 20th and I will credit you as
the source.
The A.G.O. of the newsletter is to help everyone
improve their facilitation skills by sharing and
learning from each other.

Here is one tip that a recent client
recommended for idea generating sessions that are
designed just to end up with ideas selected for
further exploration:
Once ideas have been
sorted and the top ones have been selected for
further work, have the group review just these ideas
and capture their "heat of the moment" idea comments
- the idea passion comments. This way the client
will have documented descriptions that will keep
them motivated to work through the idea evaluation
and implementation process.
