On Monday, November 17th, 2008, the 4th annual National Bullying Awareness Week in Toronto was launched with an official proclamation by Mayor David Miller. The Mayor was introduced at the podium by Tricia Myles, founder and director of Kid-Safe Productions and the Chair of Toronto's Coalition for the Awareness and Prevention of Bullying. Tricia is seen here between Dr. Debra Pepler (right), one of Canada's top researchers on bullying behaviour and Dr. Ann Cavoukian (left), Ontario's Privacy Commissioner, both speakers at the launch.

The Coalition produced a handy e-kit of bullying prevention resources, available on Kid-Safe's website.

On Saturday, November 22, 2009 Kid-Safe Productions took their exciting show "The Party Pooper" to the Palmerston Library Theatre as part of Bullying Awareness Week. The show was introduced by two Kids Help Phone puppets who shared a song with the audience to help them remember the Kids Help Phone call in number! (800-668-6868) Kid-Safe Productions and Kids Help Phone will team up again soon. Stay tuned for more info.
