National Nurses' Week May 6-12

Please join us for a Clinical Excellence Ceremony today at 4:30 p.m. in the Broadway Dining Atrium with a reception to follow.

To all Saint Luke's nurses,

National Nurses' Week is celebrated annually at the time of Florence Nightingale's birthday, May 12. Therefore nursing recognition week provides a perfect opportunity for us to reflect on the importance of the nursing profession. This year's American Nurses Association theme is "Advocating, Leading, Caring."

Thank you for the healing touch that conveys your passion of caring for others and for your willingness to grow in changing times. Thank you for your leadership and continuing to serve those in need of care. Thank you for advocating for your patients and families so unselfishly. Most of all, thank you for dedicating your life to the profession of nursing.

I invite you to join us at 4:30 p.m. in the Broadway Dining Atrium for a Clinical Excellence Ceremony and reception. A special thank you to the medical staff for providing this year's gift.

Enjoy your special week!

Debbie White

Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer
