Greetings!

The Recovery School District will hold two Citywide Community Meetings to discuss three important new initiatives to be implemented during the 2012-2013 school year:
  1. Student Enrollment and Transfer Policy
    • To cover admission, readmission and transfers

    • All expulsions for RSD direct-run and charter schools will be processed by the Hearing Office
    • Intent is to ensure due process and consistent application of rules
    • All schools will use a common list of expellable and non-expellable offenses
  3. Parent Issue Resolution Process
    • Seeks to clarify responsibilities for handling various issues among school sites, Parent Centers, or RSD Central Office
    • RSD Central Office will have a single point of contact for parents with a pledge of improved services and quicker response times
