The Recovery School District has released a report on the first phase of its new OneApp enrollment system and has announced the opening of the second phase for students not yet participating or wishing to appeal first phase placements. Read RSD's announcement of the report here.

Phase 1 - Report
- Process covered RSD direct-run and charter schools
- 84.2 % of entering Kindergarten and rising 9th grade applicants were matched to one of their top three choices
- In non-transition grades, it was 76.4 %
- In Pre-K, it was 67.7 %, but demand for seats was greater than supply
- 25,157 applications were processed, including 21,152 applications from current RSD students
- 79.8 % of applications from RSD students were "intent to return" applications
- Current RSD students in non-transition grades that did not submit an application will return to their current school next year
- Only half of rising ninth graders submitted enrollment applications for their high schools of choice
Phase 2 - Process

Started Monday, May 7, for families recently arriving in the city and unable to participate in the first round, or for those wishing to appeal their initial placement

Applications can be picked up and submitted at any of the four RSD Parent-Family Resource Centers.
- Sarah T. Reed High School, 5316 Michoud Blvd. (Open: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
- L. B. Landry High School, 1200 L. B. Landry Ave. (Open: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
- Walter L. Cohen High School, 3520 Dryades St. (Open: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
- George W. Carver Elementary School, 3059 Higgins Blvd. (entrance on Almonaster) (Open: 8 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays)

- Applications are due by Wednesday, May 23
- Families will receive notifications of results during the week of June 11
