The Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) Committee of the Whole will meet Wednesday, February 29, 2012, to discuss Recovery School District (RSD) matters. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Walter L. Cohen High School, 3520 Dryads.
 

Topics scheduled to be discussed include:

• Type 5 charter contracts and amendments
• RSD's 2012 Equity Report
• Update on capital projects
• Update on next round of Type 5 Charter School applications

By law, BESE must hold quarterly meetings in New Orleans to discuss matters relative to the RSD. Votes taken by the Committee of the Whole constitute recommendations to the full Board and are not final actions. 

 

Please be advised that, as indicated on the agenda, "this meeting may be convened up to 30 minutes prior to the posted schedule to facilitate the orderly conduct of business."
