On Thursday, July 28, the Orleans Parish School Board will hold a public auction of its surplus properties at the OPSB Administrative Office, 3520 General DeGaulle Drive. Registration opens at 10 a.m. and the auction will begin at 11 a.m.
The auction will include:
- Three historic buildings:
- McDonogh 16 School/NOCEA
- N. O. Free School Custodial Lodge
- Algiers Bus Barn
- Three tracts of land:
- Former Lake Forest Elementary School Site
- Vacant Bodenger/Elmwood Site at Idaho & Seine
- Former Seabrook School Site

Latter and Blum website. According to OPSB policy, all proceeds are dedicated to OPSB's Capital Budget.
