The Western Conference Finals. After a grueling and heart-stopping series against Detroit, the Sharks are now taking on the Vancouver Canucks with a trip to the Stanley Cup Finals on the line. It's sure to be a tight series as the Sharks look to go above and beyond last season's results.

Like the team, the Sharks Foundation is looking to do even more than they did last season. Fans can support the Sharks Foundation during the playoffs by participating in our Beard-A-Thon or Silent Auction fundraisers.

The team is working hard to reach their goal, and so are we. Support the Sharks Foundation and go Sharks!

Beard-A-Thon: Update

In to the second round of the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Sharks fans have helped raise more than $19,000 for the Sharks Foundation through the Beard-A-Thon campaign. For better or worse, the razors have been set down to benefit a great cause.

Part of the campaign was spearheaded by a healthy beard growing competition between young forwards Devin Setoguchi and Logan Couture, seen here.

To help these guys out, or to learn more about how you can raise money by growing your own beard, visit www.beardathon.com/sharks.

Each bandana will cost $5, with the money raised going directly to the Beard-A-Thon campaign. Each bandana will come with the Sharks branded Beard-A-Thon logo and an official "hockey beard" so that you can be part of the team.
