Rev. Kevin L. Jefferson class of '77 |
Dear Alumni,
We are saddened to inform you of the recent passing of Rev. Kevin L. Jefferson, class of 1977. On August 24, 2011. Devoted husband of Dr. Raneesha Jefferson; beloved father of Maya, Alexis and Morgan; dear son of the late Rev. Joan H. Coates and Wade H. Jefferson. He is also survived by brothers Dr. Michael and Dr. Philip (Nicola) Jefferson; in-laws Reginald and Veronica Ford; step-father Walter Coates; sister-in-law Regina Ford; other relatives and friends.
The Coolidge Alumni community extends our most heart-felt sympathy and prayers to the Jefferson family.
To be "absent from the body" is to be "present with the Lord" (2 Cor. 5:8). We believe and abide in the peace of knowing and trusting in God's assurance that... Death is not so much an exit out of this life as it is an entry into the Lord's presence in a very personal sense.
