Dear Alumni,
We are saddened to inform you of the recent passing of Coach Leonard Farello. Coach Farello was the Calvin Coolidge Assistant Basketball Coach under the late Coach Frank R. Williams for many years until Coach William's passing, at which time he became the Head Basketball Coach and served in that capacity for a number of years. He also served for many years as Coolidge's Head Baseball Coach.
Coach Farello was scheduled to receive this year's Calvin Coolidge Alumni Association Inc's Founders Award. He will be honored posthumously at this year's CCAA, Inc. 25th Silver Anniversary Scholarship / Benefit Awards Breakfast on Saturday October 8, 2011.
The Coolidge Alumni community extends our most heart-felt sympathy and prayers to the Farello family.
On behalf of the Calvin Coolidge High School Alumni Association, we extend our open arms and send forth our collective prayers and blessing to the family.
