Canton Chamber Main Street Association Recieves 2011 National Trust Main Street Accreditation
Canton, MS July 22, 2011-- Canton Chamber Main Street Association has been designated as an accredited National Main Street Program for meeting the commercial district revitalization performance standards set by the National Trust Main Street Center. "We congratulate this year's nationally accredited Main Street program for meeting our established performance standards," says Doug Loescher, director of the National Trust Main Street Center. "Accredited Main Street programs are meeting the challenges of the recession head on and are successfully using a focused, comprehensive revitalization strategy to keep their communities vibrant and sustainable."

This thing is called a QR Code. It is a new kind of bar code that can be scanned with your smart phone and it will take you directly to a website. Kind of cool, huh?
1. Must have "app reader" downloaded on your phone. Most people already have a qrcode reader on the phone, but if not, you can download one at http://qrcode.kaywa.com/ (see upper right-hand corner of page). This reader works better than the Microsoft reader. This qrcode reader has been tested inhouse and at outside sites, and it works for both smartphones and iphones.
On this page you can type in the URL of the page that you would like to link to.
2. Make your selection for "Content Type" and "Content", click on" Generate", and the SNAP image will appear.
For example:
· Select "URL" for Content
· Type in your web address in Content Type, and click on Generate.
