Independent Retailer Month, July 2011, is a global campaign to celebrate the importance of independent retailers in the community, the economy and the overall retail sector mix. It is a time to encourage, engage and inspire independent retailers.
Independent retailer month focuses on 3 things:
Encouraging consumers to celebrate their favorite independent retailers, to remind themselves of the fantastic mom and pops on their door-steps, and to vote with their feet if they really do want to help local retail!
