Welcome to the July issue of
Run Your Own Race - the monthly newsletter from Grove Hill Coaching.
In this issue, we have articles which give you new perspectives on how plums and Joni MItchell can help you live the life you want and you can also read about the issues around whether a man can coach women.
On a different note, do you have something to say that would be useful for readers of this newsletter? Would you like to submit an article to the next issue of Run Your Own Race? If so, get in touch.
Hope you enjoy this issue.

| Can A Man Coach Women? | |
At a meeting earlier this week, somebody asked me what my coaching specialism was and it got me thinking about clients I have had over the past two years.
I realised that if I had a specialism, I had not looked for it, I had been lucky enough that it had found me. My specialism was coaching women.
The majority of my clients have been women and as a result, I have worked most effectively with women. I got back to the woman who had initially asked me the question later that day and said 'My coaching specialism is coaching women to be what they want to be.'

Joni Mitchell
|

A chance to look at things differently to the way you usually do.
If you usually take the same route to work, try something different.
If you usually look straight ahead, try looking up every now and again.
What do you notice that you haven't seen before? If you have the same lunch, try something different.

You may recall from the last issue that together with some friends, I ran in a charity race in June to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. I would like to say a HUGE thank you to everybody who contributed so generously. If you have yet to do so, of course it's never too late and you still can - click HERE
