MM&I Header

September 26, 2011 - Is negativity draining you right now? Negative news? Negative turns of events? Negative conversations? Negative people?  Negative results? Is it coloring your way of thinking or allowing you to succumb to what you think is versus what really is ... what you think could be versus what can really be? Then it is time to shift from an inflow of negativity to an outflow of positivity.

Take an MM&I Moment to list anything or anyone bringing negativity into your life. Then counter this with one thing you can do to eliminate that source of negativity, minimize it or shift it to being more positive. While you cannot control the negativity coming in, you can control the negativity flowing back out. Create a positive momentum that stops negativity in its tracks and puts you back on course to where you want to go and who you know you can be.

Synergized Quote of the Week

"The only thing you can back up negativity with is positive play."  - Greg Austin

Savvy Secret Tip of the Week

Is your business on the offensive or defensive in the marketplace? Are you focusing more on proving you are better than your competitors or are you demonstrating how you are better in actions, tactics, strategy, positioning and results?  If your marketing  or operational decisions are more reactive and impulsive, you are managing from a defensive mindset. If your actions are strategic and backed by sound due diligence, then you are managing from an offensive mindset. Take a step back and make sure that the money, time and other resources you are putting toward your marketing and operational decisions are based from strategic forethought and not in trying to keep up or step up.  (Learn more about going on the offensive in Secret #7, 50 Marketing Secrets) Get the book today!
