MM&I Header

July 18, 2011 - Do you view money as an object or a vehicle? Is money a possession you covet or an instrument you use? When you view money as an object or a possession, its importance outweighs what it can ultimately mean and do for you and others. And when it becomes an obsession, either because you have plenty and don't want to lose it or never have enough so making it is all that seems to matter, then the richness of life is what is truly slipping through your fingers.

Take an MM&I Moment to think about how you view money. Consider if your focus needs to shift so you can concentrate on what and who matters most to you. When you see money as a vehicle versus an object, you give it movement to get you where you want to go. You are also acknowledging that there are other resources available to you. When you view money as an instrument versus a possession, then it is just another tool in your toolbox. When money is no longer the "end all" and becomes simply a part of how you make things happen, then you can truly begin to engage your opportunities and desires in ways you never imagined before ... because then money depends on you versus you depending on money.

Synergized Quote of the Week

"Much ingenuity with little money is vastly more profitable and amusing than much money without ingenuity." - Arnold Bennett

Savvy Secret Tip of the Week

Do you want to be considered the best in your business? In your industry? In your marketplace? To be viewed as the best and good at what you do, it takes more than customer testimonials. Growth companies are three times more likely than non-growth companies to have won awards for their products, services, management, business practices and people. In every marketplace, industry and community, there are opportunities for your business to be recognized. Make pursuing awards a part of your strategy and watch how consistently going for the gold and winning looks good on your bottom line. (Secret #42 in 50 Marketing Secret of Growth Companies)
