June 27, 2011 - Do you feel like you are ever so close to that exciting breakthrough and tipping point in your business or life, and yet cannot seem to get over that edge to achievement, fulfillment and satisfaction? Do you have many irons in the fire in your efforts to accomplish what you have set out to do? Are you are afraid to let any of them go for fear of losing momentum?  Too often, very driven people become their own saboteurs by spending so much time getting a variety of things going that nothing gets seen through with focused intention.  The key to success is to build upon successes and allow your focus to get things done in an intentional manner.


Take an MM&I Moment to list all that you have in the works in your effort to realize your ultimate success. Which are the closest to fruition and what will they help you realize? Which ones are not nearly complete and what will they help you realize?  Take a look at the ones closest to being complete which also will help you realize the most immediate return. Then make these a priority. Take a look at those not nearly complete and break them down into manageable steps that can be handed off to someone else to keep them going while you focus on the more immediate project. Then before you know it you will begin to see real progress again and experience some unexpected breakthroughs along the way.

What assumptions are you making about your customers that could be driving business or discouraging business away from you? Too many businesses make marketing and operational decisions under the guise of serving customers that are based from the owner or management's perspective versus the reality of the customer's perspective. What don't you know that you should know? Make it a point to get feedback from your customers to confirm a direction you are considering or, better yet, to identify a direction you should take. One of the highest compliments you can give to your customers is to let them know how much what they think truly matters.
