March 21, 2011 - Who in your life or work is not supportive or simply does not seem to "get" what you are trying to achieve? Are you sure they fully understand? Have you tried to involve them in some way to feel a part of what you are trying to do? Are you supporting what they are trying to achieve? Too often, our frustration in others can be easily released by simply understanding and appreciating what they are hoping to accomplish in conjunction with what we are trying to accomplish.
Take an MM&I Moment to consider the possibility that a lack of involvement on your part has caused a rift or misunderstanding on their part. Ask yourself how well you know what they are trying to achieve. If you cannot answer this immediately, then you need to take some time to understand what they might hope to do so you can both see how you can accomplish what you each want to do together.
