February 14, 2011 - How are you allowing yourself to know what it will be like once you have realized your dream life or business in its richest, most satisfying sense? How does success smell to you? How does success sound to you? How do you see your home, business, family that is the same and different than now?
Take an MM&I Moment this Valentine's Day to ignite your senses into action for inspiration and reinforcement of what you hope to achieve. List how success smells, feels, tastes, sounds, and looks to you. Then surround yourself with these senses. Purchase scents that depict the smells you hope to enjoy in your success. Experience ways you can feel now what it will be like when you have reached your goals. Treat yourself to the flavors you savor. Play music or inspirational tapes to motivate you. Collect and capture images or objects of what success looks like to you and place them where you will see them on a regular basis. How you are living your dreams right now even in the smallest, simplest of ways breathes life into taking action on a regular basis. And it quickly seems so real and so possible that before you know it ... it is and all that you love, enjoy and hoped for is a reality each and every day.

Earning a customer's confidence to the point they would continue to buy more and refer to others is always the goal. You cannot expect a referral simply because a transaction took place. The reality is that a customer is 30 times more likely to share a bad experience and only 3 times likely to share a WOW experience. So set your sights first on WOWing them, and then the referrals will flow without doing anything else but serving them unlike anyone else in your market space.

LEARN SOME OF THE SECRETS IN PERSON, FEB 23RD OR MARCH 1ST: My book, 50 Marketing Secrets, is dedicated to the Small Business Centers of North Carolina because of the many participants who inspired me to do the CRISP Study ultimately resulting in the CRISP Principle: Power of Five approach to marketing introduced in the book.
