January 24, 2011 - Is there something that you feel limits you in some way? Is it time? Is it money? Is it support? Is it your confidence? Is it others around you? If you are continuously focusing on what is limiting you, then you are stuck in a mindset that is crippling you from seeing your way out. By looking at what is not limiting you, ideas and ingenuity begins to replace frustration and obstacles that are blocking you from where you want to be. Any limitations you currently believe affect you are merely what appear to be limitations to you or even others within your own minds.
Take an MM&I Moment to focus on where you don't feel limited. Perhaps do this as an exercise with others who have a stake in what you are trying to accomplish. Then challenge yourself to think about how you can leverage these areas to overcome where you "appear" to be limited. If it is money, can you use the time of another in a trade of talents to get where you need to be? If it is confidence, is there someone on your team or a mentor who can help you? The reality is that whatever you believe to be IS your current reality. So make your reality always one of empowerment, possibilities and moving forward.

Savvy Secret Tip of the Week
Without a doubt, blogs are no longer something done by people with too much time on their hands. Blogs are now where many go for insight, information and perspective. And search engines love them. Don't have a blog and not sure if you want to commit to one at this time? Then be a contributor to others. Many bloggers seek guest contributors, giving you an opportunity to identify your company in association with your post. Find blogs focused on your target market or your industry and put your foot in the pool of guest bloggers.

MISSED MONDAY MOTIVATIONS? We have learned that over the most recent weeks, there may have been some faulty or non-deliveries of the Monday Motivation & Insight. We haven't missed a Monday since its inception in June of 2009. However, the distribution list has grown substantially and we are in the process of being moved to a larger server to handle the volume. You can visit www.memyselfandinc.com to read any you may have missed on the Monday Insights tab. We apologize if you were among those who did not receive and it will be back consistently in your inbox each Monday after this transition is completed. |
