Trenton, NJ - May 8, 2012: In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 7 - 11, 2012), Mercer County Technical Schools is pleased to announce Stephen Heringes of Mercerville and John Felip of Trenton as honorees of the 2011-2012 Governor's Teacher Recognition Program.
During his six years as the Architectural/Engineering Design Instructor at Mercer County Technical Schools' Assunpink Center, Mr. Heringes has developed a high-quality program offering industry standard equipment and software. Mr. Felip is a seasoned educator who has been teaching Language Arts at the Arthur R. Sypek Center for more than ten years.
"It's an honor to work amongst dedicated and talented educators," says Dr. Kimberly J. Schneider, Superintendent of Mercer County Technical Schools. Both educators will be honored at the County Convocation on Excellence in Teaching on May 31, 2012 at the Chauncey Conference Center in Princeton.
