What's New at Profit Focused Principles...
Well, another year has come to a close. A perfect time to count your many blessings in life. Throughout 2011, I met many new people and had the honor of making many new friends. My business grew and acquired new clients, whom I'd like to thank for their patronage. I proudly acted as co-chairperson for the Hearts for Hesed fundraiser last month, which raised over $25,000 for the Hesed House Comprehensive Homeless Shelter in Aurora. With that money, Hesed House will be able to deliver at least 24 people from homelessness and reintroduce them into society. As an accountant, that is one number I am extremely proud of! I would like to thank everyone who was involved in the fundraiser, whether donating their time to help out or prizes for our raffles and silent auctions. Great people can accomplish great things! I hope all of you have a wonderful year as well. I look forward to working with you this year, and I wish all of you personal and professional profitability in 2012!

Hearts for Hesed Fundraiser a Great Success
This month I had the honor to
co-chair the Hearts for Hesed fundraiser presented by Judy Phillip and her company Extra Edge. Our goal was to raise money for the Hesed House Comprehensive Homeless Shelter in Aurora and help them maintain the wonderful levels of service they provide to the community.
Their government funding has been cut and, having volunteered there myself, I know how meaningful their programs are. We had a great turnout that evening and filled the ballroom at the Naperville Country Club. The band Tres Mustache entertained everyone with live music and was a big hit! We had wonderful silent auction and
raffle items and were overwhelmed with the
generosity of all the local businesses who made donations. I personally want to thank everyone that was involved in any way with the fundraiser. Your support and efforts mean so much more than you realize. Even though this event is over, please remember keep Hesed House in your thoughts this year. |
