We've had a record 50 days of blue whale sightings in a row!
For 50 days straight blue whales have thrilled us with mugging, spyhopping, lobtailing, breaching, lunge feeding, fighting, and more!
We continue to see our returning favorites like "Bubbles" and "Spike" (who, like many famous Hollywood couples, have broken up, gotten back together, and possibly broken up again), "Notcho", and "Kinko". We also met exciting new whales too.
Our new favorite "Notcho Grande" has a similar notched dorsal fin like our good buddy "Notcho" but this whale is much larger at around 80 feet. "Notcho Grande" will even show off it's tail flukes for us occasionally!

And "Hook", a smaller blue whale with a handicap that hasn't slowed it down at all. "Hook" is missing it's left tail fluke and has become one of our favorites. We're still not certain what caused the deformity but this whale is so much fun to watch. "Hook" is not shy around our boat and displays the tail flukes on every dive.

September and October are often some of the best months for seeing blue and fin whales. In fact, last year in October we set records for most blue and fin whales seen in a day. We look forward to seeing you on board!
