SPARS announces AES Activities...

 

Spars will be hosting various activities at this year's 131st AES Convention in NY, October 20-23, 2011.

 

SPARS will be awarding the 1st annual SPARS Legacy Award to recording stuidio pioneer and legend, Joe Tarsia at the annual SPARS, P&E Wing, APRS Mix@AES reception on Friday, October 21, 2011.  

 

SPARS will be presenting several SPARS Sessions during the show, some of which are specially suited to studio owners, engineers and producers as well as student and recent graduates. 

 

SPARS Talk - Lessons from Savvy Owners

This seminar will feature recording studios that are expanding their business beyond traditional recording and will be presented in a panel discussion format. There will be panelists representing three recording businesses, each with a unique business angle / strategy.(more...) 

 

Speed Counseling with Experts - Mentoring Answers for Your Career

This seminar is specially suited for students, recent graduates and those interested in career advice. Hosted by SPARS in cooperation with AES, G.A.N.G., Post NY Alliance and other audio organizations, career related Q&A sessions will be offered to participants in a speed group counseling format.(more...)
