SPARS holds new Board of Director elections for 2011...
Eric Johnson, President of the SPARS Board of Directors, recently announced elections for new Directors of the 32 year old recording association.
Johnson was quoted as saying, "This election is of particular importance as the stars are aligning for SPARS to play an even more pivotal role in the future of the recording industry."
"We've recently launched our state of the art website, which through syndication (RSS), is generating industry related content and news. In addition, we are connecting in a more meaningful way to regional recording centers like New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago with more to come over the course of 2011. Last year we began a greater emphasis on education and networking through our SPARS Sessions and hope this year provides us with even more opportunities to hold meaningful sessions in markets large and small across the country."
Johnson went on to say, "We are extremely fortunate to be able to offer such a talented group of nominees to fill the open positions on the board."
