The Miracle of Awareness
Dear Beloved Friend,
You may have heard the expression "He/she can't see the forest for the trees". It is significant now to see the actual and metaphorical forest. See the stellar opportunity to shift, see what is happening overall in humanity. There is a magnificent, glorious awakening to love and oneness, to harmony and community that is happening in the planet. It's easier to take the habit of attention away from our narrow focus on self-preservation, when we feel the joy of investing in an unprecedented transformation in humanity.
Though often we miss "the forest for the trees", often the opposite occurs. We miss the tree for the forest. We just see the woods at a surface level with no real connection or association. Now is the time to look at the tree, look at the leaf, and see the Life Essence there and your Oneness with that Life Essence.
Now is the precious moment to remain centered in your own Essence. And while relaxing into your own radiance, simultaneously acknowledge and honor the Life Essence of every person, animal, tree, plant, and flower. Honor your oneness with the Essence of the ocean, the sun, sky and stars. This allows a luscious warm glow of connection, and a remembrance of something deep within you that feels like Home.
You practice this natural networking of oneness, by cultivating the art of being present with yourself. This means more than just selectively accepting certain aspects of yourself that you judge as more "nice" or "safe". It means fully embracing every single aspect of what is happening within you. Every inner reaction is coming up for you to embrace, forgive, integrate and release. Now is the time to liberate yourself from relationship attachments and dependencies. Deepen and strengthen your connection with your inner Life Essence, and the wholeness and completion within your boundless Self.
Awareness
Practice and Active Relaxation Experiential
*Sit comfortably and allow yourself to begin to relax *Close your eyes and breathe deeply, slowly, rhythmically *Begin to focus on your exhale, allowing the exhale to be at least as twice as the inhale. *Allow inhalation and exhalation to both be through your nose *Focus more and more on a longer exhale and allow the inhale to just happen naturally *After a few moments, simply become aware of your physical body *Focus your attention from the top of your head to your feet, becoming aware of where there is ease and where there is tension *Choose the most tense spot and simply be with it *Just allow your Awareness to rest on the tension *As your body is "seen" and "met" it will begin to relax *Allow any emotions that surface to flow, as you embrace, accept and integrate them *Keep focusing on each tight area of the body until you feel it relax *Realize that as you do so, you are allowing suppressed emotions to surface, un-layer and heal. You are allowing life energy to flow freely again. *Notice that you are not the body or the emotions, you are the Awareness that is aware of them. *Acknowledge your Self as Awareness, as the One that Sees, as Consciousness. *Rest in that Awareness, that gentle alive joy within you that is You. *Then slowly open your eyes and select either a pet, a plant, or something out in nature - such as a flower, a tree, the sun, and just focus on it for ten minutes. Just be with the Life Essence of that thing and just look at it. *Stay fully centered in your own Life Essence, yet honor and feel your Oneness with the Life Essence of what is before you.
Be pleased and happy with your Self. Feel a sense of ease, curiosity, and wonderment. Be playful and expansive about your Self and life.
