 "Indian River Colony Club Day"Brevard County, Florida awarded Indian River Colony Club with an official proclamation which declared February 19, 2011 to be "IRCC Day." The Proclamation was presented at the gate ceremony by Commissioner Mary Bolin at the Silver Anniversary Celebration.

Senior Top Model
 Last year, Senior Life newspaper put out a call for models for their 2011 Boomer / Senior Guide. Local IRCC resident Pat Brennan, on a dare, submitted a photo. She received a call in October to participate in one of the several photo shoots.

IRCC Golf Club Hosts 2011 Armed Forces Challenge
 The golf competition was conducted over 40 weeks during 2010 with 7 of 48 couples playing over 30 times. This year begins the 12th season for this popular weekly event started by residents Barb and Kirby Lawson in 2000.
