Friends of Common Ground,
We couldn't have done it without you!
Thanks to your votes, Common Ground is excited to announce that we have won the IKEA New Haven Life Improvement Challenge for a new teaching kitchen! We look forward to sharing this space with you -- through cooking demonstrations, children's programs, and more. We're also eager to inspire a new generation of real food advocates -- like alum Stephen Carmichael, who shared his cooking skills on CT Style last month.
Your support reminds us what it means to serve our community -- and makes us excited to offer many fresh community opportunities. In this issue, we share updates about Summer Camp and February Vacation Programs, The Rock to Rock Launch Party, tomorrow's High School Open House, and more.
Many, many thanks for helping us a create a stronger community. |

Common Ground had the great pleasure of hosting a visit this week from Curt Ellis, who spoke to staff and students about the journey that led him from eating donuts to becoming a nationally recognized film maker and food advocate.
