Greetings!

Are you all ready for Christmas yet?  I'm not, and I'm starting to panic - only 10 days to go!  Yikes!!

Just a few bits of information for you here - and don't forget the office is closed from today (16th December) and will reopen on Wednesday 4th January.

If you have signed up to receive ComMenT via email/website, the December edition is now ready for you to read.  Go to http://www.cmt.org.uk/ComMenT_Archive.php - and Winter 2011 ComMenTdon't forget you need to sign in to read it.

You can also download it here.

IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS SIGNING INTO THE WEBSITE - don't forget, if you haven't already done so, you need to REJOIN as if you were a new member to access the members only section of the website.  Old usernames and passwords from ages ago won't work!  Don't worry, this doesn't affect your membership status, this is just a technical issue with signing into this new website.

Family Conference

We've been discussing the possibilities of doing the same event in the future, and it would be nice to have a bit more information from you, so we've created a short survey.

If you have younger children (up to 15-16ish) - whether or not you attended the event in November - can you take a couple of seconds to complete this survey - http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZQ28JXZ - it will literally only take 10 seconds!!

Bendrigg

ADULT ADVENTURE EVENTS

Bendrigg Lodge, in Kendal (where the kids went for their Young People's Weekend) are offering courses in 2012 for adults with "mild disabilities" - which is us!  If anyone is interested in these course, contact Karin at karin@cmtuk.org.uk or 0845 2412544 and have a chat with her about them.  You can find detailed information about the courses here - the prices are a guide only.  The Bendrigg Trust who operate the courses are hoping to gain additional funding to reduce the cost.

Dates for your Diary

The office will be closed for the Christmas holidays from Monday 19th December and will reopen on Wednesday 4th January.  Emails will still be checked, no doubt, but not necessarily answered!

BY THE WAY - We are now OUT OF STOCK of the "Winter Wonderland" and "A Child is Born" Christmas cards - they are ALL GONE.  Please don't order any more!

So, the next major date for your diary is....

Annual Conference - Saturday 21st April, at the Hilton Hotel, Coventry.  An advance booking form is already uploaded onto the website, on the Annual Conference page, which is located in the private "Members only" section.

Scottish Regional Conference - Saturday 15th September at the Hilton Hotel, Strathclyde - details to be confirmed, but just letting you know, so you don't book holidays at the same time!!!
