 Cable-Based Measurement System
SmartBob2 is an economical measurement system that is suitable for many applications.
SmartBob is ideal for single point level measurement where bin levels need to be taken periodically throughout the day. Level measurements can be programmed to take place at predetermined intervals or initiated as needed from a PC SmartBob Console or RSU.
SmartBob's mechanical weight & cable design is proven over 20 years of operation in the field and in tens of thousands of bins worldwide. High temperature and explosion proof options make SmartBob2 suitable for many challenging applications.
The eBob software is also capable of displaying the levels of up to 16 bins at one time, for operations where multiple bins must be monitored efficiently. Vibrating Level Sensors by BinMaster®
The Vibrating Rod is a piezoelectric-driven
vibration type level switch that detects high, mid, and low level in bins, silos, and hoppers filled with powders or dry bulk solid materials.
· The single rod design with its sharp edged vibrating blade prevents bridging of material typically associated with the "tuning fork" design. The sword shaped blade also lets material easily flow by, and thus prevents material build-up. · Material sticking on the vessel wall has no influence on the function of the Vibrating Rod. All Vibrating Rod sensors are tip sensitive, allowing them to overlook side wall build-up. · No false alarms due to rat-holing around the active sensor. The Vibrating Rod is driven with very low energy and will not dig a hole and cause false alarms. · Fine tuning the vibrating system enables the instruments to reliably detect extremely light material with densities down to 1.25 lb./cu. ft. - Sealed bearing prevents packing eliminating the "False Full" signal when paddle stops turning
- For side mount applications, provides the ability to install a rotary where bin walls are up to 8" thick such as in concrete silos.
- For angled mounts, the bearing design keeps the shaft centered, reducing drag on the rotary motor.
- Manufactured from aluminum or steel and customized for sanitary or food grade operations as required. Also performs better with highly corrosive materials like fertilizer.

| Flexible Capacitance Probe
BinMaster's® Flexible Cable Extension Probe
The flexible cable extension was designed for high, mid, or low level when it is necessary to top mount. The flexible extension is also used in aggregate, coal or other lump materials that might damage a rigid probe.
This Flexible Cable Extension Probe features "PRO-Shield" protection against false readings because of coating or buildup. The Shielded probe also allows you to mount the probe in a standoff pipe or nozzle. Maximum length of the cable and weighted probe end is 35 feet. The cable can be cut to length in the field.
