Hi everyone

This is our first newsletter since the opening of the Thinking Fitness studio in Tumby Bay and it has been busy times for all involved!


Now located at 31 West Terrace we provide fitness services, supervised gym sessions, various classes and personal training. Did you know we also provide:

  • Thinking Fitness 24 hour / 7 day gym access with Virtual Theatre comprising of 100+ programs 
  • Spin Cycle, Fitball, Outdoor, Pump (barbell), Pilates, Yoga, Power, & Fitness Kickbox sessions weekly.
  • Limited spaces have just opened up for 1on1 or 1on2 Personal Training sessions at a time and place to suit you.
  • Small Group Sessions most days at 6.15am, 9.15am, 10.30am, 5.15pm & 6.00pm
  • Boot camps
  • Active Kids sessions

Keeping well naturallyLemon

With the cold weather well and truly here lots of our friends are down with colds. For a soothing hot drink to boost your immune try a lemon and honey drink.

Lemon and Honey
Combine in a mug:
juice of half a lemon
teaspoon of honey
dash of apple cider vinegar (optional)

Pour in boiling water as you would to make a cup of tea. You can tailor it to suit you taste...add a little more honey if you like!

For something a little more potent try this if you dare! We have concocted this combination of things that are good for your immune and this is what we've come up with.

The Potion
Combine in a small cup:
large teaspoon of honey
teaspoon of crushed ginger (can use from a jar)
good shake of cayenne pepper
good shake of cinnamon
dash of apple cider vinegar
teaspoon of crushed garlic (can use from a jar)
squeeze of lemon

Mix together well and drink it down like a shot. Have a glass of water handy to wash it down if you need to! Best taken just before bed!

What did you enjoy the most about your participation in boot camp? It was kept interesting. My energy level went up, I lost cravings for bad food and I fit into smaller sized clothing.
Reminders
Suspensions
The minimum suspension period is 1 week. Suspension rights have a maximum of two months suspension within any one year period. To activate your suspension rights we require a legitimate reason. For example it must be work related travel, holidays or health reasons are also acceptable. Simply missing your session, is not. Notification for suspensions is still required in writing, this can include an email, 24hrs prior to your session times. Remember you can make up missed sessions in advance or arrears within the given month or use the virtual theatre anytime.

Join Kits
A few of our new members still haven't collected their join kit. If you don't have a join kit ask at the office next time you're in.

Health Service Clientele
All Health Service clients need to fill out a new customer to specified use/disclosure of information form and collect a blue booklet. This is a new policy and needs to be repeated annually. If you haven't filled out this form or have any queries see Corey.

We also have the long awaited wrist bands now in stock and available for purchase at $12. A groovy addition to your sports wardrobe, it is a towel/sweatband and also holds your keys or small change. Great for  running, walking & of course any fitness session......Available in black or multicolour stripe.

WC WomenWant to learn more about yourself through this beautiful mind and body practise? Decrease tension, improve posture, develop confidence & positive outlook. Join us Tuesdays. Beginners welcome.
 

Active Kids  
 5-7 years 4.15pm Tuesdays       8-14 years 4.15pm Wednesdays

Why not get the kids out of the house doing something fun and active?
Get them learning hand/eye coordination, teamwork while building confidence. Cost is $3 per child.
Introducing health checks
30 minutes of your time is all that's needed to complete a series of non-invasive health and wellness checks. The health check includes a broken down analysis report of your body composition including, fat, lean tissue and water content. A blood pressure, back, heart & muscle health check will also be carried out. The health check will enable you to see exactly how your exercise and diet is taking effect on your body.
 
Health checks are available for $99 for non-members and $30 for members. 6 pack discounts apply.

Free membership for your friends and family

We want to encourage you to share your fitness experience with family and friends for FREE. You can bring along your mate for up to three sessions per year over any period of time TOTALLY FREE!! There's absolutely no obligation for them to join. This applies for each of your friends. That means, if you have a cousin that visits once per year, they can train with you, or choose their own sessions for their stay for free each year they visit. Why not bring a new friend every month to keep you company?!
Corporate Memberships

Corporate memberships can be purchased by and registered business. A minmum of three staff is required with proof of regular employment necessary. Corporate memberships are available for a set 12 month period and carry no suspension or transfer rights. Fees are payable upfront. They attract a 30% discount off our regular rates and are fully tax deductible.
