Don't Dwell on Your Mistakes
Yes, you'll make them. "Forget about it," says James Newman, a nutritionist at Tahlequah City Hospital, in Oklahoma, who followed his own advice to shed 250 pounds. (That's right, 250 pounds.) "One meal doesn't define your diet, so don't assume that you've failed or fallen off the wagon," he says. Institute a simple rule: Follow any "cheat" meal with at least five healthy meals and snacks. That ensures that you'll be eating right more than 80 percent of the time. |

30 minutes of your time is all that's needed to complete a non-invasive series of Health & Wellness Checks including a breakdown analysis report of your body composition including, fat, lean tissue and water content. A blood pressure, back, heart & muscle health check will also be carried out. The Health Check will enable you to see exactly how your exercise and diet is taking effect on your body.

| Suspension Reminder |

The minimum suspension period is 1 week. Suspension rights have a maximum of two months suspension within any one year period. To activate your suspension rights we require a legitimate reason. eg. Work related travel, holidays or health reasons are acceptable. Simply missing your session, is not. Notification for suspensions is still required in writing (inc. email) 24hrs prior to your session times.
Remember you can make up missed sessions in advance or arrears within the given month or use the Virtual Theatre anytime. |

Finally our weather seems to have made up it's mind! It's been very jumpy the last couple months which can be very challenging when it comes to consistent training & motivation.
Now that the really warm stuff is here don't forget to adjust your training strategies accordingly. Try bringing your overall intensity & volume of sessions down for a week or two until your body acclimatises & you will then find you can build up & respond better again once the body is used to the new demands placed upon it.
Here are some other tips;
· Frequent drink breaks · Shade · Sunscreen, hats, water · Re-schedule training sessions to cooler times of the day · Reduce periods of standing to minimise blood pooling · Adjust your intensity to accommodate for additional stresses placed on the body in hot conditions especially if you have an underlying medical condition (eg heart, diabetes, pregnancy etc.)

Many doctors now say that small, realistic changes in how you eat can work better than a drastic overhaul. Results may be slower-but you're more likely to keep the weight off. "We are simply not good at sustaining big changes," says Dr. James O. Hill, director of the Center for Human Nutrition at the University of Colorado. "Lots of people can lose weight, but they can't keep it off. When people try and repeatedly fail, they begin to feel defeated and will eventually give up." Even if you need to lose a lot of weight, it is better physically and psychologically to maintain a smaller weight loss than to continually yo-yo. |

| Orange Grapefruit Juice Recipe |
 Grapefruits are believed to aid weight loss. As well as helping to surpress hunger, grapefruit and grapefruit juice is also said to help our body metabolise blood sugar so that it is less likely to be stored as fat. The only problem is that many of us don't like its taste. Mixing grapefruit juice with blood oranges makes this drink much more palatable, gives it a lovely red colour and makes it very high in Vitamin C. Serves: 1 / Ingredients: 3 blood oranges, (peeled).
1 medium grapefruit, (peeled). Method: Place blood oranges and grapefruit in a food processor or juicer and blend until fruits resemble juice.
Serve immediatley in your favorite glass, with ice if desired. Additional Comments:
Blood oranges have orange skin but a "blood red flesh". |
