Attracting Young People To Schuylkill County
Schuylkill County like many communities across the United States is getting older. One of the main goals of VISION and many of our partners is to attract young people to our
community. This month we participated in many events designed to do just that.

Generation Next
Generation Next is a Schuylkill
County's VISION strategic partnership between VISION, the Schuylkill
Chamber of Commerce and area school
districts. The goal of Generation Next is to bring together student
council leaders from area school districts and community leaders to
discuss progress occurring in area schools and throughout the County.
On March 25 area students toured the future home of the Walk-In Art Center in Schuylkill Haven. They also met with Mayor Gary Hess and Junior Borough Council member Christian Weiser to learn about progress occurring in Schuylkill Haven.
