Master Hendrix Reaches two milestones in Atlantic City this past weekend.

This past weekend Master Hendrix trained with Master Julius Melegrito (the founder of the Philippine Martial Arts Alliance and the Philippine Combatives System) at the Action Martial Arts Magazine Annual Banquet and Trade Show.
Master Hendrix earned his Black Belt in Phillipine Combatives (Stick, Knife and Empty Hand Fighting) from Master Melegrito in November, 2009. However, Master Melegrito awarded Master Hendrix his belt and certificate in front of a packed house in Atlantic City at a special seminar Master Melegrito was teaching. It was a great honor as the PMAA only has a handful of black belts around the world!
The next night Master Hendrix was inducted into the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Fame for outstanding contribution to the martial arts. Master Melegrito's Philippine Martial Arts Alliance was awarded the "Outstanding Organization of the Year".
The award was presented by Don "The Dragon" Wilson who is the most decorated American Kickboxer ever and Michael Jai White who starred in the movie "Spawn" , "Exit Wounds" and "Universal Soldier".
