Vote for Kids on November 8

As you know, VOTE for KIDS is a partnership of individuals and organizations putting young people at the top of the public agenda in the 2011 County elections.   A critical part of the campaign is making sure you, the voter, are well informed when you get to the polls on Tuesday, November 8th.

WCA surveyed the candidates for the Westchester County Board of Legislators about issues that affect children and youth in the County.  CLICK HERE to read the Candidate Survey.

In December 2010, the current Legislators voted on whether or not to override County Executive Robert Astorino's vetoes of funding for selected issues affecting children and youth in the 2011 County Budget.  WCA has charted their votes. CLICK HERE to read the Legislative Scorecard.

After reviewing these documents, please share the information with your friends, neighbors, colleagues and family before the November 8th election.

If you have not yet joined the VOTE for KIDS campaign, it is not too late!   CLICK HERE and enter your name, address and email. A message will be sent to your County Legislator and the County Executive letting them know you will support candidates that understand the role government plays in the lives of children and families.
